- Antiques: collect, refinish, sell, shop
- Baby sit: for family, friends, church, co-operative
- Bake: new recipes, old favorites, for yourself, friends, party, church group, retirement home
- Bookstore: browse the store for new and other books in lots of categories
- Build: dog house, bird feeder, patio, deck
- Bus: take bus ride across town or to a shopping mall on bus route
- Car: wash, clean inside, fix up, touch-up, clean up, shop for trade, read about
- Checkbook: balance, pay bills
- Clean: house, appliances, closets
- Clothes: wash, iron, mend, arrange closet, pick out some to give away
- Collect: coins, stamps, dolls, mugs, sports memorabilia, etc.
- Computers: learn new language, take courses, learn new software, repair
- Cook: new and exotic dishes, for friends, for self.
- Create: something from sewing, hobby
- Drive: around city, to nearby town, to interesting tourist site, to scenic spot
